Sales rep ordering

Enter the customer’s order once — while you are still with them.

Give salespeople the customer, products and prices they need to place an order directly instead of sending notes, messages or spreadsheets back to the office.

No spreadsheet sent to the office. No second entry.

The office should not have to type the salesperson’s order again.

Today

FieldSalesperson writes, messages or emails the order

Office
  • Reads it
  • Re-enters it
  • Checks it
  • Calls back if unclear

With structured capture

FieldSalesperson enters a structured order

Office
  • Reviews only what needs attention

The useful saving is not faster typing. It is removing the second entry.

Not every business shows a different catalogue to every customer. What changes with the customer — price, terms, delivery, history — depends on how you already sell.

Show the salesperson the information needed to take the order.

Product
What they are actually asking for.
Customer price
Their price list, not the list price.
Availability

Minimum quantity
Where it applies.
Current scheme

Last order
So a repeat takes seconds.

The exact information shown depends on the sales and order process being connected.

The salesperson should know what can be promised before telling the customer the order is confirmed.

One line needing a decision should not hold the other nine.

When the salesperson leaves, the order should already be visible.

Salesperson ordering is not salesperson tracking.

This page is about giving a salesperson the right customer and order information at the point of sale.

  • No location monitoring
  • No call recording
  • No screen tracking
  • No employee ranking

Workload and manager visibility are a different page, and that one does not require any of the above either.Sales Rep Management

Objections

The questions sales leaders actually ask

Our reps will not use another app.
They will not use one that makes their day longer. The test is whether capturing an order in the meeting is faster than writing it down and sending it in later — if it is not, the rollout has failed, and we would rather find that out in the first week with one team.
What happens when there is no signal?
That depends on how the ordering app is set up and what it has to talk to, and it is one of the first things to settle in an implementation. We would rather tell you what is actually workable for your products and your checks than promise offline capture in general.
We already have a CRM. Does this replace it?
No. A CRM records the relationship; the order book records what was actually committed and shipped. Where a CRM is already in place, the order book feeds it rather than competing with it.
How much of this works if only half the team adopts it?
Order capture works per salesperson, so a partial rollout still produces a clean record for the people using it. Reporting is the part that needs everyone, because a partial picture is worse than an honest gap.

Does the office still re-enter orders sent by your sales team?

Show us how salespeople take customer orders today. We’ll help identify what can be entered once and which checks still belong in the office.
