Order handling cost calculator

Estimate what manual order handling and rework cost your business each year, and how much of that is recoverable.

The estimate below runs in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere until you ask for the detailed breakdown.

How we calculate this
  • A full-time equivalent is 1,920 working hours per year.
  • Costs are annualised from your stated working days per month, multiplied by twelve.
  • Savings apply the reduction share you chose to both handling and rework effort.

What happens next

From estimate to detailed breakdown

  1. Step 1: Enter your figures

Seven inputs, all of which you can estimate from memory. The preview updates as you type.

  2. Step 2: Verify it is you

A six-digit code to a mobile number or email. If you have verified on this browser before, we skip it.

  3. Step 3: Open your breakdown

Every figure in full, plus what we would look at first, on a private page you can return to.

Frequently asked questions

Are my figures stored?
The instant estimate runs entirely in your browser and is not sent anywhere. Your figures are only stored once you ask for the detailed breakdown, and the detailed page is private to you.
Why do I need to verify a contact?
The detailed breakdown is a page we keep for you. Verifying a mobile number or email is how we make sure it reaches the right person, and it means you can come back to it later without filling the form again.
Why is the detailed figure calculated again on the server?
The instant estimate is there so the page feels responsive. Anything we store or show on your breakdown is recalculated on our server from the figures you entered, so the numbers on the detailed page do not depend on your browser.
How accurate is this?
It is an estimate built from your inputs and the assumptions listed under the calculator. It is meant to establish an order of magnitude and show where the cost sits, not to replace a measured study.

Want someone to sanity-check the numbers?

Most teams find the surprise is which channel costs the most, not the total. A short call is usually enough to work out where to start.
